It's one of the most diverse coverages in football, with many layers and styles. Here's what you need to know about this popular split-field coverage structure.
How do you coach the Corner’s eyes/footwork in sky versus cloud/palms? I.e. in sky he is basically man on #1 so he doesn’t have to worry about #2 but in cloud/palms, he needs to clear the out of #2 first. Curious how you would coach the eyes and initial footwork differently between those. Love your work.
Only in press is the CB not getting a read from the Slot. There is a lot of data a CB can gather be seeing the release of #2. In MEG Quarters (4-Lock), the CB can play it like man.

Great, thanks Cody!
How do you defend scissors with quarters?
Let the Safety & CBs play on their landmarks. If the Corner turns into a Sail, the overhang needs to gain depth.
Appreciate it!
