Are both safeties essentially playing poach technique once 2 eliminates as a vertical threat? And do you anticipate seeing more of this kind of double cross key from both safeties at the college level or is this something unique to the nfl with the tighter hashes and more play action targeting that intermediate middle?
Versus condensed formations, I do see more college teams working with cross-keying. Just don't see a ton of Cross-Country/Wave at high volumes at the college level. But if the offense goes condensed, it is an easy way to capture those routes.
