If you had told me a year ago that I would launch a first-of-its-kind predictive analytics app, I would have told you that you were crazy. I’m a ‘ball coach, not a data scientist. My experience with the NFL’s Big Data Bowl in ‘23 piqued my interest when Scott Bouska, our CEO, contacted me about joining the team in January.

Six months later we are launching the company today. What we have built is something I think will change the way people see the game of football. My goal has always been to educate and get people to see the game I love in a different way.

The Field Vision app not only offers predictive analytics but also a unique way of viewing the NFL’s games and players in a different light. Obviously, the betting aspect of the app is the front door, but there is so much more to what is actually housed in the app.

How does it work? The model examines the past five years of NFL games and uses predictive analytics paired with football-specific context to derive more accurate insights than other sources based on historical averages.

I call it an ‘everyman’s’ app because anyone can use it, from betting and fantasy advice to accessing data that is typically hard to find. Our player rating system (Havoc/Threat) is more intuitive than any other system and reflects actual play-by-play data. All of this data will be housed in the app and updated every week.

Who is our leadership team?

Former NFL agent and Nike executive Scott Bouska (Founder & CEO) and Stanford PhD and former Instacart Data Scientist Cameron Taylor (Co-Founder & Chief Data Officer) came together through their love of football, saw a need in the market and developed a proprietary AI model that can predict who has the best and worst matchups across the NFL on a week-to-week basis, providing fans reliable information they can use to place bets, predict player performance and deepen their game-day knowledge.
